Junior Research Group Leader
RWTH Aachen University
Nico Anders has been working in the field of analysis and renewables since 2009. In 2010 he completed his studies in Chemistry at the Martin-Luther University Halle/Saale in the group of Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Lorenz with the final thesis “Analysis and occurrence of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in household dust”. He has obtained his PhD at the TU Braunschweig in the group of Prof. Dr. Vorlop at Thuenen Institute of Agricultural Technology in technical chemistry. Since 2013 he is working as junior research group leader in the Aachener Verfahrenstechnik at the RWTH Aachen University. The focus of this group are analysis of lignocellulosic biomass, green analytical chemistry, conversion of lignocellulosic biomass and chromatographic separation.
