Joseph Pesek received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana and his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. He did a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA before becoming Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Northern Illinois University. He moved to San Jose State University becoming Professor of Chemistry and has also served as Department Chair, and Dean for Graduate Studies and Research. He has over 225 publications, 3 books, 4 patents and has made over 200 presentations at a variety of symposia and meetings. He is one of the editors for the Journal of Separation Science.

Professor, Principal Investigator, Director, Consultant Editor, Reviewer, Event Organizer and Entrepreneur, Dr. Menaa earned his degrees with highest distinctions from prestigious French universities and institutions. Dr. Paraskevas D. Tzanavaras received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 2003 from the Department of Chemistry of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismail Murat Palabiyik graduated from Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ankara and obtained PhD from Department of Analytical Chemistry, Facult of Pharmacy, University of Ankara. Currently, he is working in same department. His current researches are synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles, DNA – drug interactions, investigating of anticancer effects of natural plant compounds, developing analytical techniques for drug analysis from dosage forms and biological fluids using with capillary electrophoresis, high performance liquid chromatography, spectrofluorimetry and UV spectrophotometry. Beside this, for investigating effects of experimental factors on analysis in HPLC and CE methods, he utilized Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Also, he is specialized in chemometry and worked one year in department of pharmacology and studied diabetes treatment. He is a Visiting Scholar, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Faculty of Pharmacy, Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Analysis and worked with Professor Jos Hoogmartens group in liquid chromatographic column characterization. Dr. CAGLAR ANDAC is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Istanbul University. She studied Chemical Engineering, had Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees at Istanbul University, Institute of Health Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Analytical Chemistry on drug analysis in pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids by spectrophotometric and liquid chromatographic methods. She conducted post-doctoral research at Medical Center of Munich University, Institute of Laboratory Medicine Laboratory of Bio-Separation with a main focus of hyphenation of mass spectrometry with on-line sample processing between the years 2011-2013. She has researches and publications on drug analysis in biological fluids by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, on-line solid phase extraction coupled liquid chromatography, multidimensional chromatography, spectrophotometry, spectrofluorimetry including validation, degradation and pharmacokinetic studies. She is also serving as reviewer for several reputed journals like Journal of Mass Spectrometry, Journal of Chromatography B, Luminescence, Journal of Fluorescence, Journal of AOAC International, Analytical Methods, Analytical Letters and some others.

Dr. CAGLAR ANDAC is eager to expand on knowledge in the field of Omics through both observation and experimentation methodologies. Her recent research interests are on hyphenated systems, fully automated sample processing, on-line sample processing coupled with liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry, two dimensional and multidimensional chromatography.

He is currently working as Scientist at Pharmacokinetics and Metabolism Division, CSIR Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, India created by Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. He is also working as Assistant Professor, Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) and as a Course Coordinator, MS (Pharm) in pharmaceutics, at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Raebareli under the aegis of Dept. of Pharmaceuticals, Govt. of India. He has won many prestigious awards including Young Pharmaceutical Analyst Award 2012 from Indian Drug Manufacturer’s Association, DBT- Cutting-edge Research Enhancement & Scientific Training (DBT-CREST) Award 2011-12 from Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India), SERB-DST Fast Track Young Scientist Proposal Award 2011 from Dept. of Sc. & Tech. Govt. of India.
